Bjarne Bergh is a postdoctoral researcher in Nilanjana Datta’s group at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. He works on problems in Quantum Information Theory, and is trying to find (provably) optimal ways of processing information with quantum devices (such as quantum computers), in particular focusing on quantum hypothesis testing. 
 
Before that, Bjarne has completed his PhD in Cambridge in 2024, and previously did his undergraduate and master’s degree in Heidelberg, Germany.
