The Forbes Mellon Library

The Forbes Mellon Library is the main College Library and is located in Memorial Court. Its collections primarily support undergraduate study, with some more specialised material suitable for postgraduates on taught courses. The College Archives hold documents pertaining to the history of Clare, including governing and administrative records, estate papers, academic records, and papers of individual members dating back to the sixteenth century; these may be of relevance to some postgraduates’ research.
