The College’s new River Room has been shortlisted for a Greater Cambridge Design and Construction Award, for the category: Best Conservation, Alteration or Extension of an Existing Building. 

This multi-purpose space, occupying the site of the old 1970s television room with views of the River Cam, provides seating for up to 70 people and is already a popular place for students, staff and Fellows to have a cup of coffee, meet friends, discuss their work, or simply relax and watch the world go by. 

The winners, selected by the judges from a broad range of submissions, will be announced at an awards ceremony on Monday, 4 March.
