Funding Your Postgraduate Studies
Clare offers a variety of grants to help offset the cost of books, software, and audio-visual material needed for postgraduate study, as well as grants to help offset the cost of research-related travel. From time to time, the College also offers scholarships to help cover tuition and fees for postgraduate study, which are advertised here. For more information on other sources of funding and how to apply visit the University’s postgraduate funding page.
Clare College will make one postgraduate award to support a student reading for an MPhil in European, Latin American and Comparative Literatures and Cultures (ELAC) in the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics. The award will fund 100% of the costs of the course (fees and maintenance) at the Home students’ rate for the duration of the course (9 months). Both Home and Overseas students are eligible to apply.
To be eligible, applicants should indicate that they wish to be considered for funding via the Postgraduate Applicant Portal (for details including deadlines please see the 'Funding' section of the University’s Postgraduate Admissions website). There is no need to complete a separate application form. For more information, please check this.
