Clare Boat Club warmly invites its alumni back to Clare for the Relics' Regatta, taking place on Saturday 20th April 2024. 

Rowing will begin at 2pm at the boat house, with options for both competitive sparring and relaced paddling. A river cruise will also be on offer for those whose boating days are behind them, to watch the rowing from the water. 

There is a plan to enter an alumni crew into the Head of the Cam, a 2.6km head race taking place earlier in the day. Entry is subject to interest, and there is an £10 per seat race fee, which will be collected once the entry has been confirmed. Please let Emma and Sam know in the booking form below whether racing would be of interest to you. 

In the evening, there will be a drinks reception in the MCR, followed by a four-course dinner in the newly refurbished hall. The cost of the dinner is £60 per person, including wine. You are most welcome to bring a guest to the regatta and dinner. Guests will be unable to take part in the rowing, with the exception of those who are already experienced rowers. 

Due to term dates, the college is unfortunately unable to provide any overnight accommodation either side of the regatta. 

Please be aware that parking in Clare is only available for those with access requirements and/or Blue Badge holders. Please let us know your registration number if you do require parking, and we will reserve you a space in Memorial Court, on a first come, first serve basis. 

If you have any specific mobility or access requirements, please let us know so that we can provide assistance on the day.

There are some limited spaces available on Queen's Road and also by the University Library. For further information, please see the following sites for recommended accommodation and parking near the college.
