Starting in October 2024, the Cambridge Design course offers a new innovative and interdisciplinary approach to design, focusing on solutions to environmental and societal challenges, covering architecture, engineering and materials science, as well as a range of exciting optional courses, opening you up to a wide range of possible careers in architecture, engineering, and product design.
Overview
The minimum offer level is A*AA at A-level, or HL 7 7 6 (42+ overall) in the IB, with A*/HL7 in Mathematics. For other qualifications, please see the University entrance requirements page.

Written work
We require all Design applicants to submit a PDF (6 A4 pages, and less than 15MB in size) of their own artwork where selection of images should, in part, reflect material in the portfolio you might show during your interview, if invited.
