The Role

The Financial Accountant is a key member of the Bursary team and is responsible for all areas of financial accounting, audit, treasury, tax, payroll and endowment management for the College, its trading subsidiaries and Trusts.

The successful applicant will be CCAB qualified and have experience of leading an external audit within a group structure.  Experience of preparing and consolidating financial statements is essential as is having the personal qualities necessary to lead a small team and influence peers.

In return, you will be a member of staff at the second oldest of the 31 Colleges in the University of Cambridge. Salary and Benefits

The annual salary will be between £40,524 to £48,350 p.a. In addition to this, the post holder would be eligible for a bonus every year and meals on duty.  We also offer membership of a defined pension contribution scheme, a Healthcare cash plan and parking.  A full list of benefits is available below.
