Clare College Cambridge

Teachers ' Day 2022

We are delighted to announce the return of our annual Teachers' Day on Thursday 30th June 2022!

The Teachers' Day will be taking place in person at Clare College, Cambridge.

We welcome teachers and advisors from all UK schools and colleges at this event.

Much of the discussion will centre on preparing sixth formers for university, but teachers and advisors of all subject specialisms and year groups are very welcome to attend. Whether you regularly support students in making an application to Cambridge, or have never done so before, we would welcome your participation at this event.

Registration

Please register for your place on our Eventbrite page, available here.

Date and time

Thursday 30th June 2022

The day will begin at 10.30am and conclude at 3.30pm, leaving time to enjoy a summer's day in Cambridge.

Location

The Gillespie Centre, Clare College Memorial Court, off Queens Road, Cambridge.

We recommend travelling to Cambridge by public transport or using the city's excellent Park and Ride; guidance on how to reach Memorial Court can be found here.

Programme

We want our admissions process to be as transparent as possible and to hear from you about the challenges your students are facing and how we can work together to support them.

We hope that a day of dialogue will be a chance for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know other teachers and advisors from across the UK.

The Teachers' Day will include:

  • A roundtable on university applications with our Admissions Tutors
  • Subject-specific sessions focusing on the transition from sixth form to university
  • Mock interview and Q+A with Directors of Studies
  • Tours of Clare
  • Lunch and refreshments

If you have any questions, please contact us at schoolsliaison@clare.cam.ac.uk and we will be happy to help.
