Clare College Research Associate Scheme
Clare College has set up
a College Research Associate Scheme to offer short-term collegiate
affiliation to about twenty post-doctoral researchers in Cambridge who
would like a college association of some kind but do not have one.
College Research Associates are offered dining rights, access to
the College's sports facilities, gardens, and occasional use of College
public rooms.
The College advertises the scheme on its website and in the Reporter early in the Easter Term. Applications are particularly strongly welcomed in subjects where there is a teaching need, as detailed in the advertisement. The offer is made for
one year (renewable) and in the expectation that the College Research
Associate will reciprocate by supervising for the College, if required,
for around three hours a week.
