The William Senior Studentship: Comparative Law or Legal History
Clare College invites applications for a William Senior Studentship commencing on 1st October 2012. The Studentship is established for research in Comparative Law or Legal History, and is open to graduates of any university.
The Studentship is tenable for up to three years (subject to satisfactory progress). For a Student in receipt of no other grant the Studentship will cover approved University and College fees and maintenance. It is expected, however, that the Student will also apply for other sources of funding for which he or she is eligible, including research council funding, funding offered by the Faculty and the University, and any other sources of funding.
Election to a Studentship is conditional upon the person being admitted by the Board of Graduate Studies as a registered Graduate Student of the University of Cambridge to pursue a postgraduate degree as a member of Clare College.
Applications for the Studentship should include a full c.v., a general statement of the proposed course of postgraduate research in one of the two specified subjects and the names and addresses of two referees.
Applications should be addressed to the Tutor for Graduate Admissions, William Senior Studentship, Clare College, Trinity Lane, Cambridge CB2 1TL.
Applications, and supporting references, need to be received in College by 30th March 2012.
