Postal Services

Undergraduate Students

All students are provided with a pigeon hole in the accomodation that they live in.  Mail is delivered to the Porters' lodges daily (except Sunday) and mail and parcels can be collected from the lodge anytime day or night. 

If you are absent for any reason, you will need to ask  the Tutorial Office to authorise a post forwarding service and provide funds to them for this.  The Porters will then forward mail to the designated address.  You will have internal and external mail placed into your pigeon hole.  We advise that you do not place valuable items and cash in pigeon holes.  You should keep an eye on emails from the Porters as they may from time to time send messages to you about items they have waiting for you to collect. 

When you finish your studies at Clare, you would be required to let us re-allocate your pigeon hole to another current student.  Please arrange redirection of your post when you leave.

Post Graduate Students

You are entitled to a pigeon hole, usually located in Old Court. If you join our college from 3rd August 2015, we will need you to complete the details in the form below and send this to us via email.  Your pigeon hole will then be set up for you.  The Porter in the lodge will show you where it is.  We are unable to provide pigeon holes for spouses/partners, but if mail is addressed C/O (your name) we will place it in your pigeon hole.
