Welcome to Clare College Libraries and Archives

Clare's Forbes Mellon Library (FML) in Memorial Court contains almost 30,000 books to support undergraduate study in all subjects, and the collection is kept as up-to-date and relevant as possible.  There are comfortable working spaces, as well as wi-fi throughout, and a large DVD, CD and audio-book collection.  The two computer rooms have printing and scanning facilities. Students can take a break in the  Library Common Room (LCR) where there are easy chairs, a wide-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a vending machine and a light fiction collection.

The Lipstein and Turpin Law Reading Rooms (LLRR & TLRR) on J staircase are for Law and Land  Economy students.  They contain current textbooks and periodicals, study spaces, computing, printing and photocopying facilities, and have wi-fi.

The Fellows' Library in Old Court houses the College's older material, including manuscripts and early printed books.

The College Archives, situated on J staircase, contain the documentary evidence of the history and life of the College
