Clare College Cambridge

The Hawkes Henderson Studentship in Astrophysics and Cosmology

The Hawkes Henderson Studentship in Astrophysics and Cosmology is intended to provide full funding for a graduate from outside Cambridge to read for the one-year Master of Advanced Study (M.A.St.) degree in either Astrophysics or Mathematics (with a significant component of astrophysics or cosmology) at Clare College, Cambridge.

UK and EU students will be eligible for the Studentship, which will cover the University Composition Fee of £10,368 and maintenance of £10,598.

Applicants for the Studentship need not select Clare College as their college of first choice on the Application Form for Graduate Study (GRADSAF), but they should be prepared to transfer to Clare College if offered the Studentship.

Eligible candidates applying for the MASt will be identified by the Institute of Astronomy and the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, and so do not need to make a separate application for this Studentship.
