Clare College Mixed Lacrosse Club
Clare Mixed Lacrosse Club is a mixed team of the finest players in Clare who compete in the intercollegiate lacrosse tournament which runs in Michaelmas and Lent term. The year culminates in the one-day cuppers tournament at the end of Lent.
Clare Lacrosse enjoyed a very successful season in 2010-2011. Beginning in division two, the team drew its first match in Michaelmas and then embarked on a winning streak that saw them finish the Lent term third in division one, the league title eluding them only on goal difference. This six month domination also culminated in a memorable cuppers performance which saw the team reach the final where they were very unfortunate to lose out to a very strong Jesus team, despite leading for notable periods of the game. We hope to go one better in 2011-2012!
New players are welcome throughout the season. If you're interested do come along, and with the best social life on offer in Clare, what is there to stop you?
